Robert H. Mandirola, 67, of Suffield, beloved husband of Diane (Whitaker) Mandirola, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 17, 1945, in Springfield, MA, son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Sizer) Mandirola. A lifelong resident of Suffield, Robert was a graduate of Suffield High School with the Class of 1963. Upon graduation he entered the US Marine Corps and honorably served our country during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for many years with Fournier, Preston and Yellow and was a member of the Teamsters Local 671. Upon his retirement in 1998 he went to work for Roncari Express Valet Parking in Windsor Locks. Robert enjoyed hunting, working on cars and the Boston Red Sox. A kind, caring, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be greatly missed by all. Along with his wife of over 46 years, Diane, he leaves his daughter, Shanon Crabtree and her husband Lewis and their children, Lindsey and Brittany of Enfield; his sons, of Meriden and his former wife, Debbie and their children, Kyle and Sean, Mark Mandirola and his wife Maureen and their children, Emily and Julia of Suffield, Paul Mandirola and his wife Sheri and children, Griffin, Connor and Parker of Suffield, and Timothy Mandirola and his wife Elizabeth and their son, Henry of Chicopee, MA; his brothers, Thomas Mandirola of W.
